Meet the Co-Founders
Anya Gibian and Juliana Kleist-Mendez met at Cornell University, and developed their creative partnership while taking the course "Adaptation: Text/Theatricality" in the Theatre department with Professor Beth F. Milles. After helping each other develop ideas for their final projects, 12-15 minute adaptations of "Jane Eyre" and "Strega Nona" respectively, they decided they wanted to continue their collaboration on a larger scale.
ParaCosm Theatrics was born two months later, after much deliberation on what to call this new partnership and creative endeavor.
